8 boats on the start line ! What a great day. It was a tricky, shifty day with light to moderate winds. Race 1 for the day took 59 minutes for the first boat to finish. The winds picked up a bit from there but so did the easterly shifty winds veering to south easterly by the 3rd and 4th race.
It was great to have the KYC Co Op boat Oceania out, co captained by Sheridan Macrae and Ury Segal. Great effort learning the boat and having some close finishes. For the day we had Magical in first place , Pinnical in 2nd and a 3 way tie for 3rd between Alga y, Tyranical and Osiris. Fourth place was Classical and tied for 5th – La Galatea and Oceania .. So we had some pretty tight racing. Overall combined results are posted on the racing page.
